Tina Rashid completed her post-graduate training as a Urological Surgeon on the North West Thames Rotation, which included London University hospitals such as Charing Cross Hospital and University College London Hospital. She was awarded the ‘Gold Medal’ for outstanding performance in the post-graduate urology exams in 2012. She undertook a competitive fellowship in female urology at University Hospitals of Leicester and was awarded a fellowship at a European centre of excellence in functional and reconstructive urology in Belgium, Leuven University Hospital. She was appointed as a Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2014, to develop the female and functional urology unit and the Genital Reconstructive Team. She joined the Team at Parkside Hospital in 2016. She is involved in research at a National level with a special interest in surgical outcomes and lower urinary tract symptoms in women after genital reconstruction. She is also heavily involved in training urological surgeons of the future. Tina is married to her university sweetheart and together with their young son, the family enjoys travelling and gastronomy.
